we wish to inform you that Applied S.r.l. as Data Controller (hereinafter: "Controller") considers privacy and the protection of personal data one of the main objectives of its activity, fulfilling the provisions of the European Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

This Privacy Policy, drafted pursuant to Article 13 of the GDPR, is intended to be rendered for this website (hereinafter: "Site").

This information is inspired by Recommendation No. 2/2001 that the European Authorities for the Protection of Personal Data, meeting in the Group established by art. 29 of Directive 95/46/EC, adopted on 17 May 2001 to identify certain minimum requirements for the collection of personal data online.

  1. Personal data controller

    Identification details of the data controller: Applied S.r.l. with registered office in via Speranza, 35 - San Lazzaro di Savena (BO). The personal data provided by you may be processed by employees or collaborators of the Data Controller, duly authorized to do so in accordance with the GDPR. It will be the responsibility of the Owner to give them specific instructions for the proper processing of data.

  2. Personal data subject to processing

    1. Personal and identification data

      Personal data means any information relating to a natural person, identified or identifiable, even indirectly, by reference to any other information, including a personal identification number. By identification data we mean personal data that allow the direct identification of the person concerned.

    2. Navigation data

      Computer systems and software applications used to operate this Site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the communication protocols of the Internet. This information is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users who connect to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the response from the server (successful, error, etc..) and other parameters regarding the operating system and computer environment. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning, and are deleted immediately at the end of the user's browsing session. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.

    3. Data provided voluntarily by the user

      The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of personal data to the addresses indicated on this site or by filling out the contact form, involves the subsequent acquisition of the name and address of the sender, necessary to respond to requests, and any other personal data contained in the message. Please note that the processing of such data does not require your consent, as its legal basis is the legitimate interest of the data controller to respond to your request (art. 6, co. 1, lett. f) of the GDPR).

    4. Cookies

      Cookies are small text files that sites visited by the user send and record on the computer or mobile device, to be then retransmitted to the same sites the next time the user visits. There are various types of cookies depending on the duration, characteristics and functions. They are distinguished in c.d. session cookies and c.d. persistent cookies. The first are automatically deleted after closing the browser, while the second remain on the user's equipment until a predetermined expiry date. In the Provision of the Guarantor for the protection of personal data "Identification of simplified procedures for the information and the acquisition of consent for the use of cookies - May 8, 2014" are defined the different types of cookies listed below. The "technical cookies", thanks to which the navigation of the site is facilitated, are the cookies that keep track of the actions and preferences of the user so that they do not have to be indicated again when the user returns to visit the site.   3. Purposes of the processing, legal basis of the processing and consequences of failure to provide data

    The personal data in question are processed through the site only to allow proper navigation. This processing is carried out in compliance with a legal obligation provided for at Community level as well as in order to comply with a legitimate interest of the Data Controller, i.e. to allow you and other users a correct navigation and experience as users of the site. The provision of personal data is optional and depends on your willingness to proceed with navigation: any failure to provide them will not lead to any preclusion except for the possibility of proceeding with proper navigation.

  4. Conservation

    Your personal data are processed by the Owner and possibly by third parties appointed as data processors, carefully selected for their reliability and competence as provided by art. 28 of the GDPR. The data will be processed mainly by automated tools, but also in paper form, for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. The data collected through the contact form will be deleted from the database of the website after 60 days of receipt. If the request made is for the purpose of sending commercial offers, technical assistance or recruiting, the period of retention of data processed for such purposes will be made known to those concerned by sending specific information. At the end of these treatments, the data will be deleted or anonymized within the information systems and paper archives of the Owner. It is the responsibility of the owner to observe specific security measures to prevent data loss, misuse or improper and unauthorized access in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR.

  5. Communication and dissemination

    The owner in the conduct of its activities may communicate personal data to third parties duly appointed as data processors. These subjects may belong to the following categories:

    • people, companies or professional firms that provide consulting services to the Data Controller;
    • subjects delegated and/or appointed by the Owner to carry out activities strictly related to the pursuit of the above-mentioned purposes;
    • public bodies in compliance with laws, regulations and EU legislation.

    The user's personal data are also processed by the subjects designated System Administrators under the Provision of the Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data of November 27, 2008 and subsequent amendments. Your personal data will not be disclosed by the Owner. Any further communication or dissemination will take place only after explicit consent.

  6. Your rights

    You may exercise your rights as provided for in Articles. 15 et seq. of the GDPR, by contacting the Owner by sending an email to: The communication must contain the name, address and / or telephone numbers, in order to allow the proper management of the request. You have the right, at any time, to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of data and to know its content and origin, verify its accuracy or request its integration or updating, or correction or portability. Pursuant to the same article you have the right to request cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, and to oppose in any case, for legitimate reasons, to their treatment. Finally, we would like to remind you that it will always be possible for you to lodge a complaint with respect to this processing before a supervisory authority, such as the Guarantor for the protection of personal data.
