Etipack boosts its sales force by adopting the FLY Suite
Interactive 3D real time
Etipack, following the cancellation of trade fairs and the inability to organize physical meetings with customers, chose the FLY Suite to digitally present its product catalogue.
In the last year, the COVID-19 pandemic shook most markets, attracting the attention of companies around the world and forcing them into an unprecedented race towards technological solutions that could help them react quickly to the consequences of this global threat.
Etipack, following the cancellation of trade fairs and the impossibility of organizing face-to-face meetings with customers, was looking for a solution to make up for the lack of opportunities to physically show their products.
The company, which fully belongs to the larger market of packaging machinery, designs, manufactures, and sells labelling and coding systems, friction feeders, and pick and place for product handling and distribution for the most demanding markets (e.g. pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, chemical, paper industry). Since June 2019 Etipack is part of the German Possehl Group.
Initially, the company evaluated the possibility of creating a virtual stand where visitors could explore the products on display as if they were at the physical exhibition.
Their focus therefore fell on “Stay Connected”, the online platform that offers the possibility of organizing digital events and guiding the user interaction. This solution would have let visitors access supplementary multimedia content - as videos, photos and 3D simulations - and Etipack interact with them through contact points such as buttons for requesting information and / or booking calls with qualified company experts.
After an in-depth analysis of Etipack needs and organizational structure, the company oriented its choice towards the Fly Suite due to the offline mode and the technical characteristics of the tool, which allow to reproduce faithful and working copies of even complex systems and processes.
Fly Suite was enthusiastically welcomed by Etipack Sales Team and the network of distributors and agents. The application is available to Italian Agents and Etipack Area Managers since June, and the feedback collected to date is very positive. Agents find the tool extremely useful for presenting systems in an orderly and effective way. Particularly appreciated are the interactive functions that allow the simulation of processes usually not visible to the naked eye, and the convenience of being able to show the products in their complexity and completeness even without the need to use supplementary multimedia materials. The impact on the company's customers is also positive, as they are very interested and more involved during the presentation.
Etipack has already planned to extend the product catalogue available within the Fly application and to use the solution for a live presentation during their next fair.
The future goal of the company is to make the Fly Suite a consolidated and privileged asset for the presentation of products both by the sales force and at fairs and events, virtual or face-to-face.
